Both destinations are within easy drives. This makes Gissons the ideal stopover before taking the ferry or a flight from Exeter International Airport to France or Spain. The Gissons continues the old age tradition of the travelers inn - hospitality, good food, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. At the same time it incorporates modern requirements such as en-suite bathroom/showers/steam and tea/coffee making facilities in all rooms. The furnishings in the rooms are of a high standard and we are QQQQ recommended by the AA. All of our ensuite rooms are equipped with a private shower, steam and a few even with a whirlpool unit this summer. In response to the demand for eco friendly accommodation we will be starting a program of improvements this summer. This follows an energy audit at the hotel which has identified opportunities to conserve energy by improving cooling and heating throughout the building.
